Reflecting on AACP’s Recent Celebration of Collaboration

AACP’s A Celebration of Collaboration event in Sydney on 10 February was a remarkable evening.

Beyond the heartfelt speeches, the celebratory toasts, and the stunning venue – thank you, JLL – the gathering served as a powerful reminder of the people and organisations dedicated to fostering and investing in collaborative practice.

A highlight of the evening was the presence of a number of special guests including:

• Judge Kylie Beckhouse of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. We were pleased to introduce Her Honour to many of the collaborative professionals who are committed to providing Australians with a constructive, solutions-focused alternative to litigation.
• Catherine Renshaw, Dean of the Law School at the Western Sydney University. Professor Renshaw’s participation underscored the importance of embedding collaborative practice within legal education, ensuring the next generation of legal professionals are equipped with the skills to support constructive dispute resolution.
