Alison is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a PhD from Macquarie University and master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Sydney. She has 25 years’ experience assessing and treating children, adults, and families. Her core practice for the past 15 years has focused on single expert reports in complex family law proceedings. She is now acting as a child consultant in collaborative law and mediation. She has has a special interest in attachment, developmental psychology, and the impact of separation on children. She is a Director of Sydney Collective Psychology, a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and APS Clinical College, an accredited report writer for the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and an Authorised Clinician for the Children’s Court Clinic, a Member of the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors’ Association (ANZICA) and a Member of the Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals.
