Ashlee is as empathetic as she is knowledgeable. She completed her Masters in Family Law at the College of Law in 2021 and was awarded the Sandra Paul Memorial Prize for the best graduating student. Ashlee is also a trained and experienced Collaborative lawyer, having completed advanced collaborative training internationally to broaden her understanding of collaborative practice and high conflict resolution. She is also currently undertaking her Divorce Coaching which will provide her with ongoing specialised skills to support her clients through the emotional journey of separation and how to manage the high conflict situations.
Ashlee’s career has taken her to Melbourne where she worked as a Judge’s Associate for Judge Hartnett in the then Federal Circuit Court of Australia. The experience that Ashlee was able to gain through working closely with a Judge in the family court system has given Ashlee unique knowledge and intimacy with the court system making her a clever ally when working in the court system. Having the benefit of uniquely understanding the court system has also allowed Ashlee to develop a passion for keeping her clients out of court and finding alternative methods of dispute resolution which may more closely align to allowing her clients to meet their goals. Ashlee is highly experienced in all areas of dispute resolution and works closely with her clients to tailor a negotiation method which is most suitable to their unique circumstances.
Ashlee is making headlines in a big way. She was recognised as a Finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards (Family Law) in 2021 and continues to build strong relationships with the Resolve Network of Professionals both in Adelaide and interstate.
