Course Outline
Introductory Collaborative Practice presents an overview of team based/interdisciplinary collaborative practice.
The aim is to introduce trainees to collaborative practice as a process to help separating couples to reach agreements after a relationship breakdown.
It introduces the roles of the various professionals who work in collaborative practice. It provides insight into a different way of resolving disputes and gives basic knowledge and skills necessary to work in collaborative cases with other professionals.
Course Delivery
This training is offered online through MELCA Academy. Students are expected to spend at least 21 hours undertaking this course. Course materials can be accessed in your own time at your own pace. Up to 4 group online meetings of 1-3 hours will be conducted throughout the training to consolidate and practice what you have learned. The schedule for these meetings will provided closer to the start of your course.
