Collaborative Practice Training Law Society of South Australia (Face to Face)
This two-day workshop training meets the minimum requirements of AACP and IACP and will enable the participants to then work in an interdisciplinary collaborative process
This 2-day training has an emphasis on Family Law but is equally useful in any area of law where parties to a dispute need to preserve a relationship beyond the dispute.
Lawyers commonly work in an adversarial process, which can be polarising for parties and can add to the conflict. It also results in lengthy processes that are expensive financially and damaging to relationships.
Counselors, family therapists and psychologists frequently are involved in parties’ lives, as are trusted financial advisors. However, the professions often fail to communicate with each other, which sometimes means that they are working against each other.
